What is Choice Manager?
Ogury Choice Manager handles user consent collection for all your partners, with one simple integration, ensuring compliance with global regulations such as GDPR & CCPA. Users are shown just one easy‐to‐manage and non‐disruptive consent notice giving them the control and freedom of choice over the data they share.
How does Choice Manager work?
Ogury Choice Manager streamlines the user opt‐in process by combining all consent notices from every demand partner, tech solution, tracking or analytics provider in one convenient place, including within Ogury Intelligent Monetization.
As a result, users are shown only one consent notice, minimizing disruption to their mobile journey.
How do I start using Choice Manager?
After successfully creating your asset, you have the choice to either:
- Directly integrate the SDK and call for the corresponding consent method. In this case your users will be displayed with the default consent notice with the default configuration.
You integrate the SDK later and customize your consent notice. You can do so by going into the consent settings section in your asset overview and follow the steps to manage your consent settings.
How do I configure Choice Manager?
The Consent Settings page is the page where you can customize the Consent Notice, asset by asset, that will be displayed to your user.
Please refer to the dedicated article for more details.
Can I customize Choice Manager?

Does Choice Manager list all ad providers? IAB and non-IAB?
We use the IAB global vendor list (GVL) and add custom vendors (non-IAB) as part of our Ogury vendor list.
If a vendor is not registered with the IAB GVL, we would advise this ad provider to register ASAP and will add them after they are registered.
How can I add a partner if he is not part of the vendor list ?
The most sustainable way for your partner is to register as a vendor in the IAB global Vendor List. This will allow all the CMPs to collect the consent for them.
If your partner is not willing to be registered in the IAB Global Vendor List, we can add them in our own list of non-IAB vendors. To do so, you can contact the support team by providing the following informations regarding this vendor :
For a registration to TCF V1:
- Legitimate interests purposes
- Purposes (users' consent needed)
For a registration to TCF V2:
Where does user consent apply?
On iOS applications, the consent signal applies to all iOS applications using Ogury's SDK.
i.e: Consent given on an iOS app A will be valid for an iOS app B
On Android applications, and following their direct instructions, the consent signal only applies to the application where the user answered.
i.e: Consent given on an Android app A will be valid only on app A and not on Android app B
What is the impact on users in countries where GDPR does not apply?
By default, we display the consent notice worldwide. You can choose to display the consent notice only where GDPR applies by using the geographical scope feature in your consent settings.
What is the impact of DCO in terms of performance?
DCO makes the decision on which UI version to display to the user (if activated) thanks to a decision model stored on our servers. The activation of DCO does not have any negative impact on the performance of Choice Manager.
How does Choice Manager help Marketers?
